1. Never share personal information (address, name, etc.) or details about friends and family
Even if someone asks for your personal information, never share it with them.
For example:
- ・ Your full name (first and last name)
- ・ Where you live
- ・ The name of your school
- ・ Your current location
- ・ Names of your friends or family members
- ・ Your email address, password, or phone number
- ・ Your registered ID or password for Twin Tales
Ask your parent or guardian: "What counts as personal information?"
2. Never meet up in person with someone you met through Twin Tales
'Twin Tales' is an app meant for chatting and having fun inside the app. Therefore, even if someone you met on Twin Tales asks to meet up, do not go to see them.
Meeting people you don't know can lead to accidents or dangerous experiences, so please be careful. First and foremost, make sure never to reveal personal information, such as where you live!
Watch out for people who:
- ・ Ask you to send photos of yourself/your body
- ・ Ask for your personal information or password
- ・ Talk about inappropriate or explicit topics
- ・ Ask for your social media info (like Instagram ID)
3. Never tell your password to anyone
Do not share your ID/password or share your account with anyone—not just strangers, but even family members or friends who ask for it.
Without your knowledge, someone could secretly look at your Heart Note or misuse your saved Happy or items. Please be careful!
4. Do not use hurtful language, offensive words, or profanity
There are many Cocorons and friends in 'Twin Tales'. So that everyone can enjoy playing 'Twin Tales', never say things or write posts on the Heart Note that could make you or others feel uncomfortable.
Activities like playing out adult dramas or bullying roleplay are [Inappropriate Content], so please do not do them!
Never use words that you wouldn't like to hear yourself, such as "stupid," "gross," or "die"!
If you write hurtful words or post inappropriate content, you may lose the ability to edit your profile or Heart Note, or you may no longer be able to use 'Twin Tales' at all!
5. Practice good manners on the Heart Note
The Heart Note is a space where many people can read and write posts. Please do not post things that make others feel uncomfortable.
Uncomfortable behavior includes: continuously writing irrelevant posts, interrupting conversations, or making posts meant to upset someone.
6. Do not pick fights or criticize others
Even if someone says mean things to you on the Heart Note or scams you, do not write posts to criticize or attack them on their Heart Note. Even if the other person is wrong or being bad, do not fight back—instead, please contact Customer Support.
Even if the other person started it, posting criticisms or hurtful words on the Heart Note means you are also breaking the rules.
7. Use the Gift Feature correctly
The Gift Feature is not designed for trading items. Please be careful, as you will not be able to get your items back if the other person fails to send the promised item or if a problem occurs.
When someone tricks you by not sending the item they promised, it is called a "scam". If you are scammed, please contact Customer Support.
8. Be careful with real-money trading (cash transactions)
Exchanging items for cash, iTunes gift card codes, or Google Play gift cards is called "real-money trading".
Writing "Let's do cash trading" on the Heart Note or actually participating in real-money trading is a violation of the rules, and you will no longer be able to play 'Twin Tales'.
If someone says "Let me buy this with real money" to you, do not reply or write about it on the Heart Note; please report it directly to Customer Support.
9. Always consult with a parent or guardian before purchasing Happy
If you want to purchase Happy, make sure to talk to your parent or guardian first.
10. What to do if you find a bug or error
If "Twin Tales" is acting differently than usual or seems glitchy, please contact Customer Support immediately.
Never teach other friends how to exploit bugs or intentionally try to trigger glitches.
11. If you need help
If you don't understand something, see an uncomfortable post, or get scammed, please contact Customer Support right away.
